Place to have a bite..These shutters were not meant to completely block the view here; they were intended to maintain some privacy from activity at street level, and to keep the window uncluttered and contemporary. All of them hinge open.

Bedroom ShuttersThis set of shutters is in a Master Bedroom. They hinge only from one side, to avoid bumping into the armoire on the left.

Privatizing a space.Since this room is on street level, there was a need for privacy. As you can see, the shutters do the trick, and still let light in by the way the vanes are tilted.
