Great cushions! This nice chair-ottoman pair from a well-known catalog, needed some new cushions to make it worthy of the nice guest bedroom it was destined for.
The fabric colors were coordinated to the rest of the room treatment, then were stitched into boxed and knife-edged cushions, with decorative welting applied at the seamlines.
Note the way the cushion is attached to the ottoman - there are bands that fasten from cushion to ottoman, and they are accented with large decorative buttons with tassels!

Antique chair. This antique chair was re-covered at the same time the window in this room was being treated. As the homeowner wanted coordination of the decorating elements, and the room was large enough to take it, the chair was covered with the same fabric as was going onto the window treatment. Result? Beautiful chair, ( part of a group of 3 pieces altogether) benefiting from accent welt cord at the seam lines, and the dark woodwork was a beautiful addendum to the fabric used.
Check out the matching valance in the 'Valances' album!

Detail WorkLook at the fine work done in buttoning this ottoman. it has been done very tightly to accent the depth of the top. The buttons are done in an accent color.

Chair & Ottoman. Both of these pieces began with naked wood frames, orderd from the frame maker, that were upholstered according to the wishes of this client.
Note the welting on the Ottoman, and how it releates to the main cover of the chair.
It's all in the details.

Very comfortable...This chair & ottoman pair were made from the frame up for this client, who requested total comfort and relaxation from the furniture.
The solid cover has a very soft 'hand', or finish, and the trim picks the color up a bit with its' contrast effect. Everything works upward from the 'peachy' carpet. Check out the nice matching, edged panels and coordinating laminated roller shade in the 'All Photos' album.

Nice trim idea!Catch the trim that's on the outer arm of this custom chair - it happens to be a coordinating pattern to the upholstery fabric, that was cut on the bias and used as welting.

Colorful headboard. This headboard, in a very simple shape, went into a teenager's room. Note that the cover fabric was chosen to coordinate with retail pillows and bedcoverings.

Sumptuous chairs! These Dining Room chairs were custom from frame to finish; Note the coordinating skirt, and the tasseled tieback hanging on the backs, to complete this very elegant look.

Very Regal! With a Dining Room chair upholstered all the way to the floor, the look is automatically very polished and formal.
The Damask tone on tone print fabrics are matched perfectly with the Tassels.

A great chair! This beautiful is another example of frame to finish upholstery. The customer chose the style, consulted on the fabrics needed, and it was delivered about 2 weeks later!
Contrast fabrics and trim separating sections of the chair make a nice custom piece.
